The Fan Fest is back Public Viewing now for 50000 fans

It is June 29, 2008, and the German national football team is taking part in the finals of EURO 2008 in Vienna. And in Munich, “Fan Fest” fever strikes again. The Olympic Stadium now accommodates even more fans. After 33,000 enthusiastic fans have watched the semi-final between Germany and Turkey, the capacity is now expanded to 50,000. The existing 70 square metre mega-video screen is augmented by a 50 square metre screen facing the other way. Doors now open earlier at 5.30 pm. As at the semi final, Radio Arabella will also bring the atmosphere to boiling point on the Sunday with a football warm-up programme. Entry is free of charge. The largest TV screen in the city is in the Olympic Stadium. And the best party is celebrated on the hallowed turf on which the German team became World Champions back in 1974. It goes without saying that the catering facilities are adapted to the expanded capacity. Radio Arabella looks after the entertainment until 8.15 p.m. when the pre-match reports of the ARD TV channel begin. Visitors are strictly forbidden to take any glass bottles into the stadium. Likewise, there is a strict ban on throwing plastic beer glasses and letting off fireworks.
